Mary Etta K. Van Pelt died in her sleep on June 26, 2003 at the age of 97 at St. Francis Nursing Home in San Antonio, TX. Born March 30, 1906 in Evanston, IL, Mary lived in Washington D.C. for 40 years before moving to San Antonio, TX in 1992. Mary is survived by her daughter, Ann Van Pelt and son-in-law, John McCusker of San Antonio, TX; her grandchildren, Terrie A. Conner of Yorktown, VA, Kenneth Florance of Santa Cruz, CA, and Scott Van Pelt of Hartford, CT. She is also survived by her great- grandchildren, Brittany Morgan, Dylan Florance, Tatum Conner, Madison Conner and Emily Ann Florance.
