Mary Gloria Villarreal

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesus M. Rodriguez & Romana Felan Rodriguez; brothers, Eugenio F. Rodriguez, Matias F. Rodriguez, Gregorio F. Rodriguez; son, John Anthony Villarreal Sr; daughter, Mary Lou Villarreal and nephew, Robert D. Rodriguez.

She is survived by her daughters, Cecilia Villarreal (Armando Hernandez), Monica Valdez, Jessica Landrum (Michael); brothers, Jesus M. Rodriguez (Mary), Armando F. Rodriguez, Roberto F. Rodriguez (Gloria); daughter in law, Elizabeth A. Villarreal, grandchildren, John Anthony Dominguez, Joshua Dominguez (Sarah), John Anthony Villarreal II, Samantha Valdez, Rebecca Valdez, Daniel Villarreal, Gino Valdez Jr. (Hollie), Kaylee Landrum (Jaysen), Casidee Landrum, Jasmine Landrum, Willis Landrum and Jesse Landrum; great grandchildren, Damon Dominguez, Christian Dominguez, Isaiah Dominguez, Brian Rios, Ily Dominguez, Paul Dominguez, Levi Trevino and Aiden Valdez. Mary is also survived by her numerous nieces and nephews.

Mary loved her family greatly, she was full of joy at each and every family gathering. She enjoyed to cook, tending to her many plants, and watching the Golden Girls, Family Feud or cheering on her San Antonio Spurs.

A visitation for Mary will be held Tuesday, May 14, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd, 78211 with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 PM. A Mass of the Resurrection will occur Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St Joseph Catholic Church, 535 New Laredo Hwy, San Antonio, TX 78211 with interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery II, 746 Castroville Rd, San Antonio, TX 78237.
