Mary Elizabeth Weaver, age 69, passed away January 26, 2019 in San Antonio, TX. She was born October 4, 1949 to Richard S. and Mary Jane Huskin. She was a loving wife and mother and will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, George Weaver; daughters, Rebecca and Jennifer; son, David; brothers, John and William Huskin; and sister, Martha Burkholder.
Music was a lifelong passion. She earned a Bachelors and Masters of Music degree in organ performance and worked for over 30 years as a church organist/ music director. She also loved animals, especially dogs and horses. She channeled her love of horses into therapeutic riding. She was an instructor at Triple H Equitherapy Center for over 20 years.
The visitation will be 5 p.m., Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Sunset Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be 10 a.m., Friday, February 1, 2019 at Cross Roads Church, 8102 Midcrown, Windcrest, TX 78239. Condolences may be offered at www.sunsetfuneralhomesa.com.
