

Mary Cruz Wilton, age 78, of San Antonio, Texas passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2024. Mary was a caring mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Mary enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserves unit 757. Mary was a proud veteran. Mary was also a retired school teacher for SAISD. Mary taught english and spanish at Jefferson High School and Fox Tech High School. Besides her love for teaching she was a proud sponsor of the Jefferson High school and mariachi group. Mary enjoyed mariachi music on most weekends. Mary enjoyed shopping and eating around the San Antonio Riverwalk. Mary's favorite time of year was fiesta from the music, events, and food.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Luis OCampo Sr., Angelita G. OCampo, baby sister, Lilianna Ocampo, brother Louis G. Ocampo Jr., sister-in-law Melva OCampo, and brother in law, Eddie Herrera.
Mary is survived by her son, Robert Louis Wilton (Glenda), grandson, Andrew Blaine Mills Wilton, granddaughters, Winter Ann Reel (Zachary Blain Reel), Ella Wilton, great granddaughters, Annabelle Rose Wilton, Charlotte Kay Reel, siblings,, Esperanza Herrera, David G. OCampo(Yolanda), Cathy Vela, Angie Cortez(David), numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A visitation for Mary will be held Thursday, January 9, 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 2004 Chihuahua St, San Antonio, TX 78207 with a A holy rosary being recited at 1:30 PM followed by A mass of the resurrection at 2:00 PM, all at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 2004 Chihuahua St, San Antonio, TX 78207 with interment to follow at San Jose Burial Park, 8235 Mission Rd, San Antonio, TX 78214.
