She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years, Joe G. Zurita; parents, Lorenzo and Aurora A. Rivera; daughter, Cynthia Ann Z. Cruz and sister, Estella R. Olivares and her husband Roy. She is survived by her children, Sylvia Ann Zurita (Steve), Diane Z. Gonzalez (Robert), Joe R. Zurita (Rhonda), Edward R. Zurita (Mimi), Mary Louise Zurita and George L. Zurita (Diana); siblings, Mary R. Gonzalez (Felix), Lorenzo A. Rivera (Bonnie) and Frank A. Rivera (Diana).

Mary is also survived by 17 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, March 2, 2021, at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.

On Wednesday, March 3, 2021, a funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 11:15 a.m. to celebrate a Mass of Resurrection at St. Leonard’s Catholic Church at 12 p.m. with internment to follow at San Fernando II Cemetery.
