Marylu Hagauer died peacefully on December 30 of heart failure. She was born November 6, 1924, in Temple, TX. A devoted wife, mother, aunt and grandmother, Marylu felt her greatest accomplishment was raising five children and then being blessed with nine adoring grandchildren.
Marylu never met a stranger and was generous in giving to others. She was known lovingly as "Mom Lu." As a military wife, Marylu supported her husband during his 33-year career by traveling around the world and creating a loving home wherever they went.
Marylu is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Richard W. Hagauer, and her grandson Chris Cannon. She is survived by her children: Sherry Crerie and husband Chet of Scottsdale, AZ, Nancy Garcia and husband Rene of Pueblo West, CO, Karen Cannon and husband Brian of Garden Ridge, Rick Hagauer and wife Linda of Atlanta, GA, and Ron Hagauer and wife Donna of San Antonio, and her grandchildren: Bryan Garcia and wife Mindy, Shaun Garcia and wife Ashley, Brie Crerie, Grant Crerie, Ashley Hagauer, Rick Hagauer, Kristi Hagauer, and Austin Hagauer.
