Maudie was a woman ahead of her time, she was a tremendous woman's basketball player in the 1930's. She was an avid Spur's fan and gained respect from the Admiral himself, David Robinson, who called to talk to Maudie personally.
Her true passions in life were her Catholic faith and devotion to her family.
She was a devout member of St. Leo's Altar Society and of the Daughters of the American Revolution DAR.
She is survived by her sons: Charles N. Boggess Jr. and wife, Cindy; John A. Boggess and wife, Anna; Geoff Boggess and wife, Suzanne; her daughter Terri Boggess and husband, John Moder; grandchildren: Jennifer, Jonathan, Joey, Holly, Clay, Lori, Alec, Katelyn, Lauren and Jake; great-grandchildren: Zachary, Ryan, Anderson and Cambell; two sisters: Marjorie Hohon and Virginia Mae Vogel; and her caregiver and friend, Rhonda Mahatha.
