Maurine L. Hart

Maurine Lenita Forgy Hart born July 24, 1926 to Macon McKinley Forgy and Maude Cecil McCombs Forgy, died October 31, 2012 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born in Pharr, Texas, was Validictorian of her class in McAllen, Texas and graduated from Texas State College for Women in Denton, Texas. After college she married William Earl (Bill) Hart in June, 1947. She spent her life educating children about music in McAllen, Brownsville, and San Antonio NEISD. After retirement she and husband, Bill, spent over 20 years traveling around the US and Mexico in their motor home. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Bill, daughter, Sandra Louise Hart Beard of San Antonio, Texas, son, William Randal Hart and wife, Mary Lynn of Angleton, Texas. Grandchildren, Andrea (Beard) Schwake and husband, Kevin of LaVernia, Michael Beard and wife, Reenie of Hondo. Kimberly Hart-Foreman and Alyson Hart Patterson of Angleton, Nathan Westbrook of Angleton and Natalie Westbrook of Austin. Great-grandchildren, Creighton, April, Jordan, Olivia and Madelyn. Step-great-grandchildren, Bailey and Fallon. Also numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 3, 2012 at St. Matthew’s United Methodist Church, 2738 MacArthur Blvd, with Rev. Alan Delafield officiating.
