He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 51 years, Anne Marie Porter and their daughter, Sandra Lee Sowell.
He is survived by their two daughters: Kathryn S. Schneider and husband, Hugo; Barbara K. Flowers and husband, Aubrey; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; brother, Jay Porter; sisters: Marjorie Porter and Elaine Peck; numerous nieces and nephews.
He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
