Max grew up on Lake Travis in Austin, Texas and graduated from Austin High School and then attended the University of Houston. He began a very successful career in real estate and commercial insurance simultaneously. He eventually landed in Corpus Christi where he met his wife of 52 years, Denice and they moved to the Rio Grande Valley where they owned a very successful insurance brokerage and later sold in the late 1980’s.
Max was passionate about hunting, his bird dogs, clay pigeon shooting competitions, building dioramas, hot rods, music and attending as many sporting events as possible. He also loved spending time with his beloved friends and family every chance he got.
He was preceded in death by, his parents and by the love of his life Denice Lorraine Roesch. Max is survived by his devoted son, Lance Roesch and wife, Ana Roesch; brother in law, Terry E. Decker; and grandson, Sami Msaad.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, September 14, 2026, at 5:00 p.m., at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
