Maximo Gonzales

Maximo Gonzales, born on May 11, 1923 in Floresville, TX was called to be with our Lord on January 3, 2017 at the age of 93. He served in the U.S. Air Force during WWII and retired from Civil Service at Kelly Air Force Base. He is preceded in death by his wife, Feliciana Vega Gonzales; sons, Robert Gonzales and Maximo Gonzales Jr. He is survived by his children, Rodolfo V. Gonzales (Linda), Maria Anita Saldana, Frank Gonzales (Joyce), Rosa G. Martinez (Joe), Virginia G. Moreno (Raul) and Margie Gonzales; also, 23 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; sisters, Anita and Connie; brother, Lupe Gonzales. Special thanks to Dr. Andrew Ortega, Alamo Hospice, Senior Companion Program - Mr. Lopez and Minnie Estrada and family. The Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday, January 9, 2017 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. The Procession will depart from the funeral home on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at St. Timothy Catholic Church. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery No.2.
