

Maximo Leroy Umack, age 87, passed away peacefully on August 10 2026. He leaves behind a legacy of love, service, family, friendship, and cherished memories that will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
Maximo proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for 22 years, dedicating much of his life to serving others. After his military career, he continued working and building relationships in his community, spending more than 20 years with Xerox.
In his younger years, Maximo had a passion for music and was a talented drummer. It was through his love of music that he met his beloved wife, Ingrid Umack. Their life together became a treasured part of his story and his family.
Maximo was a man who was deeply loved by his family, friends, and community. He had a way of touching the lives of those around him, and his kindness, humor, strength, and generous spirit will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Maximo was preceded in death by his parents, Pablo Umac and Francis H. Umac ; his beloved wife, Ingrid Umack; and his siblings, Pablo Umac, Geraldine Jummonville, Peter Flores, and Gerald Flores.
He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Cindy Lindt, Kai DeHoyos, Lee Terrell, Traci Claudine Umac, Jaime Miranda, Brittany Umack, and Maya Umack ; 17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; his sister, Mary Davis; and many extended family members, friends, and loved ones.
Though Maximo has left this earthly life, the love he gave, the lives he touched, and the memories he created will live on through the generations of his family and the many people who loved him.
He served his country, loved his family, shared his music, and made a difference in his community. His memory will live on forever.
Rest peacefully, Maximo. You will be deeply missed and forever loved.
