Maxine Kay Chavana born January 29, 1938 passed away on May 10, 2025 at the age of 87 after a brave battle with ALS. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Born in San Antonio to Ervin George Rolf and Mildred Inez Kuhn, Maxine lived most of her life in Boerne, Texas, graduating from Boerne High School in 1955. She began her career with USAA where she met her husband of 56 years, John H. Chavana. Maxine was preceded in death by her husband John and her parents Ervin and Mildred Rolf. Maxine lived a full and exciting life she loved to travel, visit with friends and enjoyed life on the family ranch were she cared for her many pets. Maxine was a long time member of the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo and held offices with the Frontier Club. She was a member of the Eastern Star in Boerne. Maxine is survived by her son, Ervin Chavana, wife Cindy and grandson, Trey.
