Maxine J. Ziemba

Maxine Ziemba was born in San Antonio, TX on December 25, 1922 and entered eternal rest on Monday, November 28, 2011 in Danville, CA after a short battle with COPD. She was the oldest of 6 children born to Max and Josephine Seidenschnur. She lived in Northwest Indiana for 35 years and returned to San Antonio, TX after her husband, Edmund, retired in 1982. In 2010 she moved to CA to be closer to her son. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edmund in 1984 and sister, Josephine Kryda. Surviving are her sons, Charles Stanley Ziemba and wife, Nadine, Paul David Ziemba and wife, Mary, Joseph Edmund Ziemba and wife, Dorothy; grandchildren, Bryant Ziemba, Ryan Ziemba, Jarret Ziemba, Rachel Sorbig, Amanda Ziemba, Lauren Ziemba, Steve Ziemba, Lindsey Ziemba and Sean Ziemba; siblings, Bertha Nowakaski, Celia Stephens, Joyce Despres and Max Seidenschnur. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
