Megan Marie F. Corpus

Megan was born on June 11, 1990, and raised in San Antonio, Texas, where she built a life rooted in love, laughter, and cherished memories. She began her educational journey at St. John Bosco and Coronado Escobar Elementary School before attending Edgewood Fine Arts Academy, where she developed her passion for the arts through dance and performance. She continued her education at Palo Alto College and later attended the School of Nursing and Medical Technology, pursuing her desire to help and care for others.

From a young age, Megan embraced an active and creative lifestyle. She enjoyed playing soccer, participating in cross-country running, and expressing herself through dance. Her love for the arts led her to perform with PAC Dance and Ballet Folklórico de Edgewood, where she proudly celebrated culture, tradition, and community through movement.

Throughout her life, Megan was known for her strong work ethic and commitment to those around her. She worked as a Teacher’s Assistant at Stafford Elementary, where she supported and inspired young students, and later as a Beauty Advisor at H-E-B, bringing warmth, kindness, and a friendly smile to everyone she met.

Above all, Megan was a devoted mother to Brantley Cash Dunn, loving daughter to Rose Marie Corpus, cherished friend, and proud dog mom to her beloved Elvis. She had a deep love for music and found joy in attending concerts and dancing. She could often be found on the dance floor, embracing every genre of music and creating unforgettable memories with family and friends. Her vibrant spirit and infectious sense of humor were among her greatest gifts. She had a remarkable ability to make people laugh and could always find a way to tell a joke, even during the most difficult moments of her life.

Those who knew Megan will remember her as hardworking, loyal, selfless, kind, and loving. She was the friend who could always be counted on, the family member who put others before herself, and the person whose presence could brighten any room. Her legacy lives on through the countless lives she touched with her compassion, laughter, and unwavering love.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Megan is preceded in death by her father, Ruben Corpus; paternal grandparents, Jose and Eloise Corpus; Maternal grandparents, Trini and Jose Flores; uncles, Richard Garcia, Jose Corpus and Abel Corpus; and cousins, Gilbert Martinez and Phillip Corpus.

She is survived by her son, Brantley Cash Dunn; loving mother, Rose Marie Corpus; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; her childhood dear friends, Amanda Ramirez, Charles and Matthew Mejia-Perez, Eric and Adan Flores-Alarcon, Catherine and Mark Montez; as well as other relatives and many, many friends.

The Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to Midnight on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino, 226 Cupples Rd., San Antonio, TX 78237, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Procession will depart at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 13, 2026, for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of The Resurrection at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1321 El Paso St., San Antonio, TX 78207. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery II, 746 Castroville Rd., San Antonio, TX 78237.
