

He was born February 8, 1928 in Kings Mill, Texas and graduated from Henley High School in Klamath Falls, Oregon in 1945. He then served his country from 1946 to 1949 in Guam, Siapan and Alaska.
He worked in trucking and the solid waste industry until retirement in 2007. He became a Mason in 1967 and a Shriner in 1970. He was an active member of the Alzafar Provost Guard, Hillbillies, Rod & Gun and Golf Unit. He also served as a Constable in Pct. 2 for 20 years.
He loved golfing, hunting, fishing and along with his grandkids was a very big fan of all sports. All will dearly miss his humor and loving nature.
He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Sharon; six children, Lee Kemp and wife Julie, Richard Kemp and wife Stephanie, Jim Kemp and wife Debbie, Grady Cooper, Shanda Rendon, Randa Arnold and husband Weylan. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Melissa, Stacie, James, Richard, Julia, Tyrell, Chris, Ty, Chase, Alex, Callie, Christina, and Jessie; 2 great-grandchildren, Noah and Jacquelynn; brother, Ben Kemp; numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, February 3, 2010, at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
