Melvin Malone Mitchell, 94, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2026 surrounded by his family. He was born on August 31, 1931 in San Antonio, Texas to Iris and George William Mitchell.
A memorial service will take place on Monday, April 6, 2026 beginning at 11:00 am at Alamo Heights United Methodist Church, 825 E. Basse Road, San Antonio, Texas 78209. Honorary pallbearers will be his eight grandchildren.
