Meridee Lynn (Runge) Loomer

Dr. Meridee Lynn Loomer was born December 1, 1983, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She passed away from cancer at the age of 39 on December 30, 2022, in Texas. She earned her doctorate in Psychology at George Fox University. She worked as a psychologist in California and Texas. She married the love of her life, in 2014, Benjamin Loomer. They traveled to Ireland, Paris, Norway, and Yosemite. They were blessed to welcome William into their family four years later.

Ben and Liam were the focus of her life. She loved having new adventures with them; always looking for new things to try and experience as a family. She was a fun and devoted daughter and sister. She consistently stayed connected to family and friends though separated by thousands of miles. Meridee was a loyal and faithful friend. Kindness and compassion were felt by all who spent time with her. People left her feeling valued and taken care of. She will be greatly missed by all people who crossed her path in life.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Glenn and Petra Anderson and Vernon and Lois Runge. She is survived by husband, Benjamin, Son William, parents, Marvin and Irene Runge, Brother Jonathan Runge (Cathy), Father-in-law Larry Loomer, nieces and nephews Julia, Logan, Megan, and Eli Runge, Kaitlyn and Kenneth Uhlenberg, Richard Solomon, and Nicholas Weeks along with aunts, uncles and cousins in Minnesota and California.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at First Assembly of God.
