She was a lifelong resident of San Antonio, and a graduate of Brackenridge High School. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a great grandmother.
Merle lived a full and exciting life. She was a avid bowler, bunco player, and dancer. Her favorite things were the Spurs, the Cowboys, grandkids and great grandkids. She could out dance, out cook, and generally please any crowd especially her family who will suffer a deep absence without her.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, James L. Moravits; sons, David and his wife, Cindi of Seguin, Wayne and his wife, Lisa of Boerne; daughter, Vicki and her husband, Vernon of New Braunfels; grandchildren include, Brandy and Mark, David Jr., Amanda, Dustin and Ashley; great grandchildren, Owen and Faith; brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Lucille Lancaster.
