Merrilyn Menn Gohlke, age 75, passed away December 9, 2014 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on June 28, 1939 in San Antonio, Texas to Hilmar and Alice Menn. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Gohlke, parents, Hilmar and Alice Menn, brothers, Gus and Richard Menn and nephew, Jeff Menn. She is survived by her daughters, Sherry (Clarence) Kiolbassa, and Julie Hodges; grandchildren, Sarah Kiolbassa and Wesley "Dusty" Hodges; great-grandsons, Joseph and Samuel Kiolbassa; sisters, Carol (Floyd Clark) Spengler and Shirley Hoover; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home on Bandera Road on Sunday, December 14, 2014 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Monday, December 15, 2014 at Zion Lutheran Church, 9944 Leslie Road at Braun and Loop 1604 North. Interment will follow at Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
