She was a creative and talented artist in many media. Merry graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School, The University of Texas and Trinity University.
She was a longtime member of Christ Episcopal Church where she became active with the children's Sunday school program. Merry, along with her husband George, loved the ministry of the H.E. Butt Foundation's Laity Lodge and were the first people to make a contribution towards the construction of a special place where people could go and spend time in solitude. That became known as The Quiet House located on a part of the Butt Foundations' beautiful property near Leakey.
She also loved the outdoors and very much enjoyed being on the Gulf Coast where her fishing skills were put to use frequently, as well as her skills in photography, capturing beautiful pictures of its landscape on film.
Merry is preceded in death by her beloved granddaughter, Erin Wilson and is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, George Molteni; daughter, Nancy Wilson; son, William Loomis and wife, Jeannie; stepsons, David and Tony Molteni; her sister, Gloria Meadows and husband, Ben; and her granddaughter, Hannah Wilson.
In lieu of flowers, Merry would love to see contributions made to the charity, The Christ Healing Center, P.O. Box 12778, San Antonio, TX 78212 or the charity of your choice.
