Micaela A. Cantu
September 29, 1952 – February 7, 2019
Micaela Alvarez Cantu, born on September 29, 1952, went to be with the Lord on February 7, 2019. She is preceded in death by her parents Santos Alvarez Salazar and Herminia Castro Rios. She is survived by her beloved husband Albert O. Cantu; aunt: Tomasa Hernandez; children Myra Trevino, Albert Cantu Jr. (Vanessa) and Michael Cantu; grandchildren Joey and Ariel Trevino, Michael and Maddalyn Cantu, Alina, Adalie and Arissa Cantu; 3 sisters and 7 brothers. Micaela enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and gardening. She will truly be missed by family and friends. A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 14, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Road, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. On Friday, February 15, 2019, a procession will depart the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass to be held at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, 1918 Palo Alto Road. Interment will follow at Mission Burial Park South, 1700 SE Military Drive.
