Michael Thomas Clymer was born in Laramie, WY to William and Delores Clymer in 1952. He graduated from Laramie High School in 1971. In his youth he was on the wrestling team and was involved with Future Farmers of America (FFA). In 1972 he joined the army and served in Vietnam. After his service, he settled in San Antonio, TX.
Survivors include his daughter, Tearanie (Jonathan) Kennedy, Schertz, TX; son, Michael (Brandi) Clymer, Cibolo TX; grandchildren Kaylie Kennedy, Michael Clymer, Briana Kennedy, and Lilianna Clymer; brothers William Clymer, Cook, MN and Leo Clymer, Belle Fourche, SD; sisters Marlyn Levy, Cleburne, TX and Jeannie (Lyle) Pickel Johnson, Sturgis, SD; and many nieces and nephews.
Michael was preceded in death by his wife, Lorita Henderson Clymer; mother Delores Bird Clymer Crout; father William V. Clymer; and his brother Joseph Crout.
Michael never met a stranger. He had the gift of striking up a conversation with anyone. He was a man of many interests. Michael enjoyed golfing, bowling, playing the lottery, and his toy train collections. But most of all Michael relished time spent with his children and grandchildren.
We know he is now in heaven greeting everyone by saying, “Hi, my name is Mike. I am sure you know yours.”
