Michael served his country proudly in the United States Army during both Desert Storm and Desert Shield and was currently the managerial administrator for Sears Automotive.
He enjoyed race cars, country dancing, and riding his motorcycle.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, John F. Ellington. He is survived by his son, John-Michael Ellington; daughter, Heathyr Joline Ellington; mother, Glenda Faye Waters; mother to his children and close companion, Jolene Rene Ellington; sisters, Michele Ellington and Robin Ellington; and nieces, Nicole Ellington, Deana Ellington-Waters, and Casey Ellington.
He was an incredible father, devoted son, and compassionate brother who shall not soon be forgotten, but will rather live on through our hearts.
