Cousin Felie, Our deepest condolences go out to you and the family. I would have signed the guest book early, but it is so hard to find the right words. Mike's passing away touched our hearts so much.
 When you both came to Corpus on our 35th anniversary-2002, it meant alot to us. I'll never forget it.

Phil, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this diffcult time. I'd liked to share this poem I came across when my Dad passed away:
Little I knew that morning, God was going to call your name, in life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone, for part of me went with you, the day God called you home. You left us beautiful memories, your love is still our guide, and though we cannot see you, you are always by our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.

Phil, you and Mike have been such nice neighbors and we always enjoyed stopping and visiting with each of you when we would pass walking our dogs. We'll miss seeing and waving at Mike as we would pass, but we won't forget the sight of him and his broad smile and twinkling eyes. 

We know that your heart is heavy now and forever will be, but we pray that you will find peace and comfort in knowing that Mike is now in the loving arms of God.

 Mike was a quiet man who was a hard worker, a great father and husband. I recall many conversations I had with Mike many years ago and was always amazed how he always talked about his family and how proud he was of his children.
