

He was born on June 27, 1948, in Portland, Oregon, to Daisy E. Greig and Robert J. Goldsmith. He lived a full and loving life. He served in the US Army, graduated from college with a BS, and went on to be the best Fire Adjuster he could be. He was able to retire early and travel the world. His passions were doting on his family and traveling, and he loved line dancing. He made many friends at events and taught dancing lessons, and he told many stories about his travels and his dancing. He was a business owner and a world traveler, a charming man and a teller of jokes.
Michael is survived by his children and their spouses: Jennifer Trent of San Antonio, TX, Michael R. Goldsmith II (Anna Kiefer) of San Antonio, TX, and Linda Gragg (Kyle Gragg) of North Platte, NE; his sister: Patricia Lawrence of Portland, OR; and his grandchildren: John Wayne Michael Trent and Jackson Wyatt Trent of San Antonio, TX, and Allison Jolene Gragg of North Platte, NE. He was preceded in death by his mother, Daisy E Goldsmith, and his father, Robert J Goldsmith.
