Police Officer Michael Anthony Mandujano at the age of 59, went to be with our Lord and Savior September 10, 2022, in San Antonio, Texas, surrounded by those he loved. He fought a courageous battle with stomach cancer and is now free.
Mike was born October 23, 1962, to Richard G. Mandujano and Oralia G. Rios in San Antonio, TX. He graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in 1980. After graduating from high school, he pursued his lifelong dream of becoming a San Antonio Police Officer (SAPD).
In 1982, Mike met the love of his life Elaine while doing what he loved, dancing. When he met Elaine, he knew she was the one. They were married in 1985 and enjoyed 37 years of marriage. They were blessed with two wonderful sons, Michael Ryan (1990) and Matthew Aaron Mandujano (1998). He had such a profound love for his wife and sons. Mike being the man he was, shared his love and kindness with his extended family, community of friends, his brothers, and sisters in Blue and in Christ.

He was a spiritual man who helped many enter a new and/or deeper relationship with our Lord and Savior. Mike served as the Director of the Men’s A.C.T.S. retreat. He was an invaluable asset to the St. Mary Magdalen community. He absolutely loved his church.
To say Mike had an incredible passion for music, dancing and the Dallas Cowboys is an understatement. Disco dancing was his specialty.
