Michele Marie Weatherly

Michele is preceded in death by her parents, Delbert Gardner and Susan Squires, her brother, John C. Squires III, and her daughter, Christine Weatherly. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Jennifer Weatherly Jr, daughter and son-in-law Leslie and Randy Burleson, daughter and son-in-law Cathryn and Jason Fisk, sister and brother-in-law Valorie and Dirk Paugh, her brother Kurt Gardner; nine grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and many other loving adopted family members and friends.

She was born in South Bend, Indiana, and relocated to San Antonio in 1971. While raising her three children, she relocated to many different states in the US as a devoted military wife. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Wright State University and a Master’s Degree from St. John’s University. Her greatest pride came from time spent with her children and grandchildren. She had a gift of loving all people and was a second mother to many of her children’s friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 23rd at 2:00 pm at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, please send contributions to Soldiers’ Angels or your favorite charity.
