Miguel was the heart of our family — known to all simply as Papi, a name that captured both his warmth and his spirit. He was a devoted husband to Esther Garcia, a proud and loving father to Kassandra and Giovanni, and a joyful grandfather who never missed a chance to kick a soccer ball with his grandkids.
Family was everything to him. Whether he was tending to his yard, firing up the grill for a weekend BBQ, or cheering on a boxing match with his signature enthusiasm, he brought people together. His laughter filled every room, and his jokes — often unexpected and always hilarious — reminded us not to take life too seriously. He loved deeply, not just his children and grandchildren, but also his many nieces and nephews, whom he embraced as his own. His home was always open, his arms even more so.
Miguel leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and loyalty. He taught us to work hard, love harder, and always keep a sense of humor.
He will be deeply missed but never forgotten. His spirit lives on in every family gathering, every game of backyard soccer, every grilled meal, and every burst of laughter.
