

Milan Emil Vooletich, 65, of Missouri City, Texas passed away Thursday, October 26, 2006 in San Antonio, Texas. Milan was preceded in death by his parents, Milan Emil Vooletich and Zora Tatalovich Vooletich, and his sister, Marta Martin. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Rosemary Loughman Vooletich Missouri City, Texas; sons and daughters-in-law, Dan and Lisa Vooletich San Antonio, TX, and Brian and Mary Vooletich Houston, TX; two grandsons, Zachary Vooletich and Brice Vooletich; sister and brother-in-law, Diane and Richard Walker Pittsburgh, PA; and several nieces and nephews.
A private family memorial service will be held in San Antonio, Texas to honor Milan. It is respectfully requested that friends and family who wish to remember Milan and celebrate his life do so in their own place of worship. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in Milan's name and memory to the donor's charity of choice.
Milan, a native of Pittsburgh, PA, was a graduate of Carrick High School in Pittsburgh, PA. He earned a Bachelor's Degree at Geneva College in Beaver Falls, PA and a Master's Degree at Miami University in Oxford, OH. He enjoyed a successful 32-year football coaching career that began at Sandusky Ohio High School in 1964. Other coaching stops included Miami University, the University of Colorado, the University of Michigan, Rice University, the United States Naval Academy, the University of Iowa, and the University of Kentucky.
