She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and active in the Episcopal Diocese of West Texas. Mildred was also a longtime member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church where she was active in the Daughters of the King and the parish and diocesan Altar Guilds.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, LTC Clyde L. Holland.
She is survived by her daughters, Candice Holland-Meyer and husband, Michael; Sandy Rhine and husband, Loran; grandchildren; Michael Rhine and wife, Toni; David Rhine and wife Chris, Cynthia Preslar, Jennifer Ahr and husband, Michael, Larry D. Mitchell II, Meredith Mitchell, Max Meyer and A.J. Meyer; 11 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.
