She was a faithful Christian and a lifelong Baptist. Mrs. Marks was a talented musician and loved writing poetry. A Texas history buff, she loved flowers and trees and all of God's creation.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton R. Marks, Sr. and sister, Katie Mae Hawkins.
She is survived by her son, Clinton R. Marks, Jr. and wife, Juanell; daughters, Gwen Marks, Janice Young and husband, Clay, and Kay Johnston and husband, William; six grandchildren, Karyn Marks, Sharon Helms, SSG Randall Young, Sarah Lance, Kendra Johnston and Jerry Johnston; and six great-grandchildren.
