Minerva Olivares Garcia, loving mother and grandmother, was 92 years old when she passed away peacefully on November 24, 2021 in San Antonio, Texas. Minerva loved all of her children and grandchildren. She also loved reading her Bible daily, going to church and spending time with her church friends.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, brothers, sister, and husband Remigio Garcia, and daughter Maria Theresa Gonzales. Minerva is survived and will be greatly missed by her daughter, Yolanda Jones (husband George Jones); two sons, David Garcia (wife Auora Garcia) and Andres Garcia; and her numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, & great great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., with Rosary at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Porter Loring Mortuary.
