Minerva H. Garcia

was called to be with the Lord on March 4, 2014 at the age

of 52. She loved to sing and was very active in the Cursillo

Movement. She worked for the Catholic Archdiocese of San

Antonio for over 25 years. She served many Catholic

Churches throughout the community in many capacities.

She is preceded in death by her sisters, Rosario Baez,

Jovita Rios and Dolores Villanueva. She is survived by her

husband, Gregory Z. Garcia; brother, Marcos Hernandez;

sisters, Frances Camacho (Jeronimo), Estella Ramon

(Richard), Pilar H. Perez (Ernesto) and Socorro Rendon;

nephews & nieces, Jovita, Elizabeth, Rudy, Richard, Paul,

Laura, Patricia, +Ernesto, Jr., Eric, Rosie, Irene, Anthony,

Jesse, Danny, Cyndy, Leenette, Raul, Julissa, Andrea &

other nephews & nieces; godson, Joey De La Garza;

goddaughters, Dalilah Ramos and Victoria Ramon.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday,

March 9, 2014 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd.

with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Procession will

depart from the funeral home on Monday, March 10, 2014

at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at

San Juan de Los Lagos Catholic Church. Interment will

follow in San Fernando Cemetery No.2.
