Minerva A. Marconi

Minnie was a loving and devoted wife for over 46 years to her husband, James. She retired from Civil Service having worked over 30 years. Her life was dedicated to her children and grandchildren.

Minnie loved to travel and easily made new friends, because she never met a stranger. With a strong faith in God, Minnie loved to laugh and celebrate life.

As a lifelong resident of the San Antonio area, she was an avid Dallas Cowboy and San Antonio Spurs fan.

Minnie has a way about her relationship with everyone. She always made you feel special in her own loving way.

She was preceded in death by her father, Pedro Ayala, Sr.; her mother, Josephine G. Ayala; and her grandson, Gary Matthew Marconi.

She is survived by her husband, James E. Marconi; her children, Thomas and Diana Marconi, Debra and Daniel Saldana, Benjamin and Cyndi Marconi, Teresa and Jonathan Kirkland; grandchildren, Ross Gonzales, Jr., Jacy Lewis, Nick Saldana, Adam Marconi and Dane Marconi, Blake Kirkland, Andrew Marconi and Danielle Saldana; other survivors include four brothers; three sisters; numerous nieces and nephews; and extended family and friends as well.

She will be greatly missed.
