Minerva Avila Robles

Minerva Avila Robles, born on October 30, 1942 in San Antonio, TX was called to be with our Lord on May 9, 2016 at the age of 73. She was a Licensed Vocational Nurse for The University Health System for over 30 years. She was an avid reader and had her own library filled with many of her favorite authors. She loved to spend time with her precious grandchildren and enjoyed going to the casinos. She is preceded in death by her mother Maria O. Martinez, brothers, Eusebio Avila, Frank Avila, Lupe Avila, Jose Avila. She is survived by her loving husband, Manuel F. Robles; sons, Roland Lizcano (Sonia), Daniel Lizcano III and Ronald Lizcano (Deborah); granddaughter, Marisela Edwards; grandsons, Ronald G. Lizcano, Brandon Rene Lizcano, Daniel Lizcano and Ian A. Lizcano; sisters, Anita Felan, Dolores Avila, Juanita Zavala, Maria De Jesus Torres and Yolanda Manry. The Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday, May 15, 2016 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Procession will depart from the funeral home on Monday, May 16, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at St. Henry’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery No.3
