She is survived by her loving husband, Roland Salazar; daughter, Valerie Marotta; parents Modesta Gonzales and Manuel C. Alvarado; sisters, Nora Elia Macias (Daniel Macias), Rose M. Prado; brother, Jesus Manuel Alvarado Jr.; also numerous nieces and nephews. Minerva will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

The visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm., Friday, January 29, 2016 at Porter Loring Mortuary, 1101 McCullough Ave., San Antonio, TX 78212 with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
The Funeral procession will depart from Porter Loring Mortuary on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass at San Fernando Cathedral, 115 Main Plaza, San Antonio, TX 78205. Interment to follow in First Memorial Park Cemetery, 20567 State Hwy 16 S., Von Ormy, TX 78073.
