
Ming Liu, age 51, a devoted husband and father entered into eternal life on October 1, 2001 after a courageous battle with cancer. Ming was born in Taiwan and came to San Antonio 23 years ago. He was always considerate, positive, and had a great sense of humor. His love of his work, family, and friends has left a memorable impression among all who knew him. He also devoted countless hours on civic activities, including serving as the Director of San Antonio Chinese Culture Institute, and as the former president of Chinese Society of San Antonio. He was last employed by the Capital Group as an Assistant Vice President in Information Technology. He meant the world to his family. May he rest in peace. He will be missed by his family and many friends. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to his friends for their expressions of kindness. He is survived by his wife, Wei-Hwa; daughter, Jennifer; and son, Jonathan. He is also survived by a beloved family that includes his father, Wei-Hung; mother-in-law, I-Ming Chang; sister, Hui; sisters-in-law and their spouses, Arlena and Charles Warner, Yvonne and David Christensen, Lei and Douglas Otto; and a number of nieces and nephews.
