Minnie was born in Guadalupe County to Harry and Matilda Hassmann on July 4, 1940. She graduated from Sam Houston High School and went on to become an administrator working in various customer service positions. In her spare time she loved to read and do crafts. She will be remembered for her dedication to her family.
Minnie is preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Matilda, as well as her siblings, Edward, Vida Mae, Louise, Joseph, and John. She is survived by her brothers Jim (Zelma) and Richard (Barbara) and sister-in-law Norma, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
The family would like to thank Mrs. Johnson and all the staff at Hopes Residence, as well as the hospice nurses who cared for her in her final days.
