Survivors include children, Deborah Green, Karen Nottebrok (David) and Ronald Clemens, Jr. (Jaci), grandchildren , Stephanie L McNeely (Jon), Jonathan Green (Lisa), Audrey Krupa (Rob), Vanessa Jungbauer (Jeremy), Logan Nottebrok (Jade), Kyle Clemens (Stephanie) and Kenneth Clemens (Angel) as well as twelve great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald J. Clemens, son-in-law Randy Green, granddaughter Taryn Green, parents, Grover and Anna Mae McMeans, and brothers Herschel and Frank McMeans.
Mickie retired from Bank of America after serving 50 years in the Banking Industry. She served as President of the American Institute of Banking in 1977 where she coordinated numerous charitable events such United Way and Toys for Tots.
Mickie’s greatest love was her grandchildren. She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church since 1968. She loved her Robert E Lee Vols and was an active booster club member in support of her children during the mid-1970s. She also enjoyed taking gambling trips to Vegas and watching the Spurs.
The family would like to express their sincere love and gratitude to Mickie’s niece, Melissa Sutherland Hunt for all that she did for their mother both prior and during her illness.
Mickie will be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Park, 1701 Austin Hwy, San Antonio, TX 78218-1712.
Serving as pallbearers are JT Green, Kenneth Clemens, Jonathan McNeely, Logan Nottebrok, Jeremy Jungbauer, Rob Krupa and Colbie Price. Serving as honorary pallbearer is Maj Kyle Clemens currently stationed at Lakenheath AFB, UK.
