Miriam (Mimi) Greenberg, aged 86, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 15, 2017, surrounded by loved ones. She was born September 4, 1930 to Frank and Louisa Lefkowitz, and the youngest of four brothers. Mimi had a genuine and sincere love for everyone that entered her life and made sure to always keep in touch with them.
She always maintained a positive attitude, even when fighting against numerous health issues. We will always miss her response of "Simply Wonderful" when asked how she was doing or how her day was. Her love of community can be shown through her memberships of many organizations including, Hadassah, the Agudas Achim Sisterhood, Former Board Member and 2nd Vice President of the Charlie Pearl Friendship Club, and the Jewish Community Center.
She is survived by her husband, Morton; daughter, Lynne Aranda (Russell Nelson); granddaughter Danielle Amey (Brink); brothers and sister-in-laws, Milton Lefkowitz (Gertrude), Lawrence Lefkowitz, Joseph Lefkowitz (Roberta), Arthur Lefton, Betty Lifshutz and numerous nieces and nephews. Family, friends, and others whose lives Mimi touched are invited to reminisce, grieve and of course, just chat, following the graveside service.
