She was born in Queens, NY, met her brother’s Navy ship mate, John P Weil Jr, on 12/31/60, they married 9/19/1961 and moved to Milwaukee, WI where they started their lives together. They welcomed their daughter on 2/3/66 and their son on 10/2/71. She had multiple jobs throughout the years including starting as a waitress at George Webb, being a Community Babysitter and in the factory at Milwaukee Faucets. In January of 1983, they had enough of the snow and moved to San Antonio. Here, she started at Welcome Wagon before she accepted a job working as a Sales Rep/Distributor for American Chickle where she worked for the next 11 years. In 1984, they reunited with God and were confirmed at Concordia Lutheran Church. In October of 1992, she quit her job and started a business cleaning houses, working with her daughter. She retired in 2010. Mitzie never met a person she didn’t like, she never missed a family event, she attended over a thousand sporting events for her children and grandchildren. She loved being around kids and animals. Mitzie was always the first to play cards, or a board game with her family, neighbors and children’s friends. In fact, the neighborhood kids would often come to the door and ask if Mitzie could play. Her hobbies included cross-stitching, bowling, crafting of any kind, church functions, oldies music, dancing, spending time with friends and most importantly her family. She never let a day go by without a heartfelt laugh. She is loved and we REALLY, REALLY, REALLY mean it.
