Moira Hay Lynch, age 71, lost her courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, July 22, 2006. She was born in Edinburgh, Scotland to James and Janet Allan. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Donald Allan. Moira was survived by her beloved husband of 51 years, Col. John P. Lynch; sons, Mitchell Lynch of Schertz, TX and his children, John and Katie; David Scott Lynch and his wife, Liz of Houston, TX and their daughter, Katharine Glaser; and a daughter, Michelle Zook and her husband, Dave of Arlington, VA. and their children, Helen and Willem Zook; 1 sister, Eleanor Allen; 1 brother, Ian Allan and wife, Sheila and son, Rory; cousin, Linda Bernard and husband, Ricky and son, David, all of Scotland. For 21 years, Moira accompanied her husband on overseas duty, and was active in support of our POW's. She was proud to be an Air Force wife, she was proud to be an American, and she was proud of her Scottish heritage. FREEDOM
