Born in Kerrville, Texas, to Wilburn and Betty Nethery, Mollie was the oldest of four daughters. She is survived by her sisters Martha Wood (Kenny), Margaret Durst (Jeff), and Mary Nethery.
Growing up, Mollie was active in 4-H, where she excelled in showing horses, even winning Grand Champion. She attended Trinity University, where she was a proud member of the skeet shooting team. Mollie later married the love of her life, Dennis Ray Campbell, and together they raised two sons, Dennis Ray Campbell Jr. and Walter Wilburn Campbell.
Mollie built a long and respected career with Aetna Health Insurance, all while being her sons’ biggest supporter in their sporting events and daily lives—always their loudest cheerleader. After retiring, she found joy working in the Garden Department at Home Depot, where her love of gardening blossomed as she helped others discover its beauty.
Her greatest joy, however, was her family. “Gollie,” as she was lovingly called, adored her grandchildren—Jacob, Jon, and Josh (children of Dennis and Cassie), and Aizley, George, Abigail, and Amelia (children of Walter and Amber). Her love and devotion to them was unmatched.
Mollie is preceded in death by her husband, Dennis, and her parents, Betty and Wilburn. She leaves behind her sisters, sons, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, nephews, and many who were blessed to know and love her.
