Morris Karam, age 86, passed away on August 15, 2008 while he was surrounded by his loving wife of 63 years, Margaret Andry Karam and his children and grandchildren. His passion was St. George Maronite Catholic Church, where he served on the Parish Council for almost 5 decades and was a Messabki Brothers Award recipient. Because of this tireless work, Pope John Paul II pronounced him a Knight of St. Gregory, one of the highest honors bestowed by the Catholic Church on a lay person. He is preceded in death by his loving parents; his brothers, Edmond and Joe Karam; sisters, Judy Karam and Eva Andry; and numerous relatives.
