I was sad to find out in water aerobics class this morning that Mossie passed away. He was special to us and we will miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this sad time.

Buddy and Gladys Gilbert, Nadra Lindsey, Mal Gillman, and ourselves, Harry and Olga Simon were priviledged to know Mossie for many years enjoying birthday and holiday parties and bowling luncheons. 
His high moral and ethic qualities were admired by all of us. Those of us who are still here extend our sympathy for your great loss.

To Mossie's Dear Family, Your father was quite the man! We only came to know him recently at the Health Link water class. As you know he was loved by us all and will be remembered fondly. He was an inspiration to those of us who had ailments -- he shamed us into showing up each session because we knew he never missed a class because of rain, shine, hot or cold. We thank you for sharing Mossie with us. May he rest in peace knowing that he left his wonderful mark on many.

Growing old with style: Mossie Robins was a living lesson in how to do just that. It?s freezing outside just now. Yours truly recalls the last time we had such weather. As he always was?up to his recent fall?Mossie was at the pool despite the hazards. ?My kids worry about me driving on ice,? he allowed. ?They forget I drove to work on ice for fifty years.? He seemed invincible, able to sail across ice, or to leap tall buildings. It seems unimaginable that he wouldn?t go on for years more, leaping tall buildings and sailing across the ice. He was always ready to go. ?Hey, Mossie, you wanna go to lunch?? ?Hey, Mossie, you wanna go to Carole?s art show?? ?Hey, Mossie, you goin? to the racetrack?? Yes came the answer, time and again. He was not a man to say no. As to the track, yours truly cannot attest, but as for any other event, a person could count on Eddie and Virginia making sure Mossie got to the appointed place, and he got there slicked up and smilin? that unforgettable grin. Oh, that grin of his! Without fail, you could count on glancing across the pool to where Mossie was giving his all, exercising with the kids of 60 and 70. And he was always grinning. From the viewpoint of the second pool, it looked as if he were also whistling. Well, he ought to have been grinning and whistling. He was, after all, the sultan of the pool, with old broads aplenty part of Mossie?s Harem. Mossie Robins was quite a guy. A darling. A lesson in how to grow old. Oddly, he may have been up there in years, yet he defied age. Damn shame to lose him! R.I.P, darling Mossie. You are remembered with much love.

My friend Mossie you were an inspiration to all who met you. Canyou imagine all the hours of joy you gave to us at the healthlink pool. 
I shall always remember you.

Dear Howard, I have great sorrow at this time. Mossie and Selma, and Bud and Gladys Gilbert, my parents were the best of friends. They now all reside in Heaven. Deepest Sympathy,

Connie and I were very sorry to learn of the death of your dad. Though Mossie may have had some troubled times this last month, I am sure that he has found peace with God now. May you, Eddie and your families find the strength to get through this difficult time of sorrow and sadness. At our age, we all have been through this more than once and there is nothing I can say that will make it any easier other than that I am here for you and alwalys will be.
