Mozelle W. Cortes returned to her Lord and Savior on February 11, 2022. Born May 21, 1930, Mozelle lived 91 wonderful years. She is survived by her daughters Linda, Debbie, Crystal (Joe), and numerous grandchildren. She is proceeded in death by her husband, Alberto “Jesse” Cortes, sons; Mark, John, and Mike, daughters; Judy, Iris. Mozelle and Jesse were married for 63 wonderful years. They were the epitome of a true couple. Their home was always open for a cup of coffee or Mozelle's incredible cooking. Mozelle was a devoted mother, wife, grandmother, friend, and educator. She graced NISD as a middle school teacher at Rudder. Mozelle spent many years working retail and credited her very first job at the phone company as the start to her female independence. Mozelle was witty, stunningly beautiful, and always made an entrance. These things leave wonderful memories and lessons which live on in the hearts of her loved ones. Burial will be private.
