Muriel Hinds Schoelzel, beloved mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, returned to her maker on January 2, 2014. She was born May 5, 1927 in Medina, Texas, the third of six children, to Leslie C. and Dava M. Hinds.
Muriel is preceded in death by her late husband, George Schoelzel, Jr. She is survived by her son, Gerald Schoelzel; daughter, Janet Schoelzel Towart; son-in-law, James Towart; grandson, Travis Towart; granddaughter, Lauren Towart; sister, Opal Hinds Keenan; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Muriel was a member of Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile, and DAR.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, January 6, 2014, at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
