Myrna Long, age 68, of San Antonio, died Tuesday, January 15, 2002. Mrs. Long was a member of Oak Island Methodist Church. She was a nurse at Brook County Hospital in Quitman, GA and a registered nurse for 50 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Willie Albert Griffis, Alderman Griffis and R.L. Griffis, Jr. Survived by; husband, William Ervin Long; children, Lynda Widner, Alabama; Michelle Cox and William E. Long, Jr, both of San Antonio, TX; three grandchildren, Lyndsi Widner, Lance Widner and Garrett Joseph Cox.
