Nadine P. Bailey entered into eternal rest on August 8, 2012 in San Antonio, Texas, at the age of 88. She was born April 23, 1924 in South Bend, Indiana to the late Walter Leo and Lillian Pearl Schrader. Nadine served in the U. S. Navy during WWII and earned Bachelor’s degree in sociology and education from Hardin Simmons University in Abilene. She taught in San Antonio for 30 + years, most of those years spent working for the Northside Independent School District. Nadine was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Charles Pat Bailey. She is survived by her children Barry Bailey (Linda), Pat Bailey, and Teresa Lynn (Jerry); grandchildren Patrick (Tracie) and Zachary Bailey, Brock (Heather) and Brandi Bailey, Jenny, James, and Bob Lynn; and Great-grandchildren Ryleigh, Madelyn, Allyssa, and Zander. A beloved and caring Mother, Nadine was always there for her family and will be sorely missed.
